Refreshing Adhesive Rolls (Pre sheeted)

Purge " remove " a single layer of adhesive from the adhesive rolls to reveal a fresh layer. Lift the edge of adhesive from the surface of the roll, pull it away from the roll until a fresh layer is exposed.

With Pre-Sheeted Adhesive Rolls the outer revolution can be simply peeled from the roll. With standard adhesive rolls, cut off the contaminated layer using a sharp blade.

If this operation is carried out on a regular basis, your equipment will always function at it's maximum cleaning efficiency.

This also ensures that the rubber cleaning rollers continue to operate at their optimum efficiency.

With a double sided Clean Machine, always remove a layer from both top and bottom adhesive rolls at the same time to ensure satisfactory operation.

Cleaning Rubber Rollers

Remove bottom Adhesive roll prior to cleaning Rubber Rollers.

On a daily basis the rubber rollers should be vigorously wiped using "Tekwipes" (Teknek part number MI6700) Do not let IPA fall onto Adhesive Rolls as this will invalidate your guarantee.

On a weekly basis or if surface deterioration or contamination becomes evident, the rubber rollers should be vigorously wiped using Scotchbrite Pad (Teknek Part Number MI5068) and Isopropyl Alcohol together. Do not use Acetone, Screen Wash or any solvent based cleaner on the rubber rollers as this will damage the elastomer compound. Ensure that no cleaning fluids impregnate the adhesive roll surfaces.

Note: Always allow Isopropyl Alcohol to evaporate before allowing the adhesive rollers to come in contact with the rubber rollers.
