TOMA TO HEAD UP NEW SALES FUNCTION AT TEKNEK

Teknek, the global leader in contact cleaning equipment for the electronics and manufacturing sectors, has appointed Evelyn Toma to the position of Business Unit Manager – Services.
Evelyn is heading up a new division within Teknek which is focused on the provision of service, spares and consumables to its installed base of over 15,000 contact cleaning machines world-wide. “Teknek’s range of consumables such as adhesive rolls and elastomer rollers are technically superior to anything else in the market,” said Evelyn. “It will be my responsibility to raise awareness of this amongst existing and potential clients.
There is huge growth potential in this area and I am very excited about joining a market leader which is in expansion mode. Part of my job will also be to educate the client base about the benefits of pro-active maintenance. Our clients are all running mission-critical production lines 24/7 and our aim is to help them have 100% uptime and increase their production yields.” Evelyn has extensive experience of sales and marketing within the electronics sector having worked for 20 years with Motorola Semiconductor most recently as European Market Operations Manager for consumables and industrial applications.
Prior to joining Teknek she was a business adviser with Scottish Enterprise’s High Growth Team. She has a BSc (Hons) in Microelectronics from Edinburgh University and a Postgraduate diploma in Business Administration from Strathclyde University.
