Teknek first introduced the hand held DCR - Dust Cleaning Rollers - in 1984, since then we have developed the range of rollers and accompanying adhesive pads, which are unrivalled in today's marketplace.

The DCR can be used in any industry to remove dry, unattached particles of contamination from a production process to increase yield and improve quality.

The DCR range can be supplied in a range of lengths, standard sizes are 6 and 12 inches (150 and 300mm), with 3 different elastomer compounds dependant on the cleaning application DCR Hand Rollers

The softer the roller the more contact it will have with the material being cleaned, the harder the roller the less the contact the roller will have the material being cleaned.

New DCR Products
In a drive to continually develop the DCR roller range, Teknek have introduced new options to the product family.

ESD (Electro-Static Dissipative) DCR
Teknek has developed a unique elastomer compound which has the dual characteristics of electro-static dissipation and highly effective cleaning capability.

The high surface energy of contact cleaning rollers can sometimes generate large static electrical charges, up to and in excess of 30kV. The unique Teknek ESD compound produces only a fraction of this static charge - reductions as large as 80% have been measured - and any charge created on the roller will dissipate immediately if earthed and within seconds if left to natural decay.

The ESD roller compound is available in the standard  6" and 12" sizes and will fit into any Teknek DCR handle.
